Mass Spectroscopy III

Two mass spectra of gaseous compounds are shown here:

Mass spectrum of Compound 1, sulfur dioxide: molecular ion at m/z 64, fragments at m/z 48, 32, 16 Mass spectrum of Compound 2, formaldehyde (methanal): molecular ion m/z 30, fragments at m/z 29 and 28
Compound 1 Compound 2

1. In the answer box to the right enter the name or formula of a compound that would give mass spectrum 1.

2. In the answer box to the right enter the name or formula of a compound that would give mass spectrum 2.

If you enter a formula, group all atoms of the same element together and do not attempt to subscript numbers. If you enter a name, be careful to spell correctly and to use spaces where required.
