Mass Spectroscopy IV

Two mass spectra of pure liquid compounds are shown here:

Mass spectrum of Compound 1: base peak m/z=43, molecular ion m/z=86, smaller m/z=15 peak Mass spectrum of Compound 2: base peak m/z=30, odd-mass ion m/z=61, peaks at m/z=46 and 15
Compound 1 Compound 2

1. In the answer box to the right enter the name or formula of a compound that would give mass spectrum 1.

2. In the answer box to the right enter the name or formula of a compound that would give mass spectrum 2.

If you enter a formula, group all atoms of the same element together and do not attempt to subscript numbers. If you enter a name, be careful to spell correctly and to use spaces where required.
