Mass Spectroscopy VI

Two mass spectra of pure liquid compounds are shown here:

Mass spectrum of unknown Compound 1, with bromine isotope pairs at m/z 138/140, 94/96 and 79/81; base peak 94/96 Mass spectrum of unknown Compound 2, molecular ion m/z 156, iodine peak m/z 127, fragments at m/z 27 and 29
Compound 1 Compound 2

1. In the answer box to the right enter the name or formula of a compound that would give mass spectrum 1.

2. In the answer box to the right enter the name or formula of a compound that would give mass spectrum 2.

If you enter a formula, group all atoms of the same element together and do not attempt to subscript numbers. If you enter a name, be careful to spell correctly and to use spaces where required.
