Mass Spectroscopy VII

The mass spectra of two constitutional isomers are shown here. Both are gases at room temperature. The molecular ion is the small peak at m/z = 102 amu.

Mass spectrum of Isomer 1, base peak m/z=51, peaks at 83 and 33, molecular ion m/z=102 Mass spectrum of Isomer 2, base peak m/z=33, peaks at 69 and 83, small 51, molecular ion m/z=102
Isomer 1 Isomer 2

1. In the answer box to the right enter the name of the isomer that would give mass spectrum 1.

2. In the answer box to the right enter the name of the isomer that would give mass spectrum 2.

Be careful to follow the IUPAC rules of nomenclature and to spell correctly. Remember to use hyphens and commas where required.
